How Coaching Benefits?

 

   The Dalai Lama once said "the purpose of our lives is to be happy", and for me that is the

    real benefit of coaching.

A. CLARITY 

   

         Sometimes we know exactly where it is we want to go with our lives, and

         sometimes we know we aren’t happy but don’t know why. Coaching will       

         benefit you by helping you to set goals you really want to achieve,

         by distinguishing between what you could do, should do, ought to do and

         really want to do.

         When you create an ideal goal - something you really want – you are more likely to take action to achieve it. A Coach works with you to create a

         step by step plan – a dynamic, workable plan enabling you to achieve your dreams.

 

 

B. Bridging the gap 

     

       I truly believe that if you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always got and to get where you really want to get you

       need to do something different. Coaching will help you discover what you need to do differently and support you in your achievements.

 

 

C. Strategies FOR GOAL ACHIEVEMENT

 

      A Coach has many tools and techniques to quickly draw out the way forward for you. Through coaching you will discover more options than

      you thought were possible. Coaches will use inciteful and challenging questions to help you decide which path is the right one. Having

      decided on what actions you need to take, the coach will ensure that you are 100% committed to achieving them, and help you deal with any

      obstacles on the way.

 

D.Overcome obstacles, low confidence and insecurities

 

     We all have thoughts and opinions about our abilities, going on inside our head constantly. This is commonly known as your ‘self talk’. Often

    our self talk tells us what we can’t do, why we can’t do it, and the worst case scenario if we tried – these thoughts are called ‘limiting beliefs’ and        they stop you moving forward. They are thoughts we have about ourselves that are very often based on no particular fact. They are built up over        time from what we are told during childhood, schooling and adult life. We often inherit limiting beliefs from family, friends, teachers and our   

    peers.

 

    Your limiting beliefs can give you low confidence and insecurities and often become obstacles to achieving what you physically can achieve. 

    Coaching will help uncover these beliefs and through determination and time you can overcome them. Your coach will help you with strategies

    and techniques to use to change your thoughts into more positive ones that will enable you to move forward.

E. Explore and evaluate all possible options available

 

      In order to achieve your goal you need to take some actions, but which are the right ones for you? When working with your Coach, you will be

      introduced to tools that will help you discover more options than you thought were possible. You will be able to evaluate the pros and cons of

      each in relation to achieving your goal, but crucially to ensure that the action fits well with your values and beliefs and your whole life. You'll be

      able to reach for more and maintain a balanced life while doing it. You'll have more time for people and things you value, so you'll feel more

      fulfilled.

 

F. Dedicated time, support, encouragement and motivation

 

      How great would it be to have someone 100% dedicated to helping you achieve your dream. A Coach gives you this dedicated time; they

      support you, celebrate successes with you and help motivate you along the way. How often do you speak with a friend about a problem and it

      ends up being about them and what they did. Your Coach is only interested in you, your goal and supporting you to get there.
